Monitoring Improvement, Relativity, Self-deprecation, and Perfectionism. Progress is hard to monitor, especially if it is your own. The funny thing is, my job is about watching others progress. It easy to see it in others, I watch students, particularly those really dedicated to learning, and it is amazing how quickly some of them improve. One said, the others nodding in agreement.

The restaurant is small but I like the atmosphere, informal and friendly. Chicken pie with homemade pastry.

I know it has been awhile since my last posting, but nothing too exciting has happened since then. I did go up Mauna Kea and go stargazing last Wednesday which was awesome! I could see the Milky Way, Saturn, Mars, and constellations.
